Veterans Day 2008 Program at the VA Hospitals in Waco and Temple

These events were originally scheduled outdoors but moved indoors due to bad weather. We adapted.

The programs called for a system to cover 200-300 people in an outdoor venue.  The program included special music, a marching band, and several civic and military speeches. We've provided this program for several years. We enjoy the program and always leave committed to be better Americans. It is a beautiful setting surrounded by US flags. On this particular day, we experienced torrential rain so the crowd was moved indoors.  In Temple, the chair rental company sat chairs up in three hallways and we aimed speaker cabinets in such a way that folks could hear. No complaints!  The stage area was set up where the three halls converge.

Our part of this event happens in two stages. First, we arrive at sunup to set up in Waco where the program begins at 8:00. We have to move fast. Once that system is up with Crew A in place, Crew B heads to Temple to set up for their 11:00 program. After Waco is struck, the Crew A heads to Temple to assist with that program. Everything is back in the truck by 12:30 to 1:00 and it's time to celebrate with a nice lunch in our favorite downtown eatery. I generally order their grilled Salmon with rice pilaf!

A special thanks to the many Veterans that have served the USA.

Comments from our client:

Thank you for doing a great job - I know that we are paying for good service but wanted to say that you did exactly that and in bad weather ... thanks again.
